Most importantly, thank you for considering my company to design, build or maintain your outdoor living area. I do appreciate you taking the time to browse photos and research my company and myself.
As a real estate broker for 30-plus years, I constantly looked for ways to calm the incredible stress and anxiety that comes with that business. A few years ago I was helping my landscaper clean up a home that I had listed for sale. I found myself really enjoying it! The next thing I know he invited me to work with him and I felt it would be a welcome break from real estate. A few months in, we were in a customer’s backyard and I said something about the yard needing a water feature. My landscaper friend turned to me and said… “Wow, you have water feature issues! You think every backyard needs a water feature!” He was right! I do have water feature issues! I believe every backyard should have the peace, serenity, and relaxation that comes with the sound and movement of naturally flowing water.
The sound and the movement of naturally flowing water completely transforms your yard.
I soon connected with Aquascape, a manufacturer of pond and waterfall products, that literally has thousands of followers around the globe. They specialize in water features, ponds, and pondless waterfalls. I then started working for a large landscaping company as their pond, waterfall, and water feature specialist.
I have extensive formal training and am proud to say I am 1 of only 3 Certified Aquascape Contractors in the State of New Mexico!
I branched out on my own with Rocky Mountain Water Gardens. I have had customers with tears in their eyes after I completed their water features. Customers sent me photos of their waterfall at 1:00 am. My favorite experience is a customer that told me she put a hammock next to her waterfall where she would sit quietly and feel like she was with her husband that had recently passed away.
There is no greater satisfaction than knowing that my customers will enjoy the peace and serenity of their water features for years to come.
